Multilingual Interactive Pop-Up Experience at New York’s Macy’s
In 2015, Clinique enlisted Lorem Ipsum to design an innovative launch experience for their new product line, Sexy Neutrals. Collaborating with Macy’s, New York City’s largest department store, we designed interactive elements, user interfaces, and produced all associated media for this initiative.
The Sexy Neutrals line was crafted to offer versatile, everyday makeup options for various skin tones. Our primary objective was to demonstrate the usability of these products across different skin types.
Lorem Ipsum developed a user-friendly interactive counter interface, which underwent rigorous testing with focus groups to ensure optimal consumer engagement.
To cater to the multilingual international crowd at Macy’s in Manhattan, the experience was designed in English, Chinese, Spanish, and Portuguese.
The interactive counter experience was complemented by strategically placed media screens throughout Macy’s, designed to draw customers to the activation point.
Lorem Ipsum orchestrated the entire media production process, encompassing the studio shoot, model casting, product photography, and all post-production work.
We extended the product launch to the web, integrating it seamlessly with Clinique’s website and YouTube channel to maximize reach and engagement. This comprehensive approach ensured the campaign was accessible across multiple platforms, enhancing its overall impact.
Clinique’s personalized shopping experience captured customers’ attention, resulting in the successful reception of the Sexy Neutrals line, with products selling out within three months.
